Jeffrey Hall talks with Jack Eason about the length of time it takes to cement real and lasting relationships.
He is an Associate Professor of Communication Studies at the University of Kansas. Hall recently conducted a study where he determined that it takes about 50 hours of time spent together for two people to become “casual friends.” And that number jumped to at least 200 hours of quality time to become “close friends.”
